A large California Utility had an on again/off again Predictive Maintenance Program, they had invested more than $80k in both analyzers and software. Too frequently after training personnel for the task of data collection, analysis and reporting, those individuals would either advance to another position or be eliminated due to head count reductions. Redline was asked to bring current the old PdM Program. After several months it was realized that it was much more cost effective to allow Redline the continuing contract for services and place investment emphasis on other aspects of producing electricity.
